Our story
The International Studio of Art & Galleries (ISOAG) was created to give Dubai a genuinely welcoming home for creativity — a place where a four-year-old, a teenager building a portfolio and an adult returning to painting after years away can all learn under one roof. From our studio in Al Safa 1, Jumeirah, we teach drawing, painting, clay and mixed media in small, supportive groups, and we publish our prices in full so families can plan with confidence.
We believe art is for everyone — not just the gifted few, and not hidden behind enquiry forms and waiting lists. That belief shapes everything from how we teach to how we price.
The name says it: a studio of art and galleries. Alongside teaching, ISOAG is a space that shows and supports artists and brings the wider community together around creativity — from beginners picking up a brush for the first time to practising artists exhibiting their work. Whichever door you come in through, you join a studio that takes art, and the people making it, seriously.
Meet the founders
Ruxeena Musthafa — Co-Founder & Creative Director
Ruxeena is an artist, educator and UAE Cultural Golden Visa holder. She hosts Art2Heart, a Dubai television series on Channel D, and has shown her abstract work in the UAE for more than 25 years, exhibiting at World Art Dubai and Sikka Art Fair among others. At ISOAG she leads the creative programme and our painting classes, bringing professional, exhibition-level practice into every lesson.
Najah Musthafa, MA, AThR — Co-Founder, Managing Director & Art Psychotherapist
Najah is an art psychotherapist whose clinical, wellbeing-led perspective shapes how ISOAG teaches. Her influence is why our classes are designed to build confidence, focus and emotional expression alongside artistic skill — a clinician-informed approach you will not find at a typical art class.
