International Studio of Art and Galleries has been such a meaningful part of my creative journey. Attending their workshops regularly has not only helped me learn and explore different art forms like sculpting, fabric painting, watercolors, and many others, but has also given me the confidence to keep discovering new ways of expressing creativity. What I value most is the warm and encouraging atmosphere they create in every workshop. It never feels like just a class, it feels like being part of a creative space where learning is enjoyable, relaxed, and inspiring. Over time, I have also gained a wonderful community of friends through these sessions. A heartfelt mention to Ruxeena, whose warmth, dedication, and personal touch make every workshop so welcoming and memorable. I would highly recommend ISOAG to anyone looking not only to learn art, but also to be part of a beautiful creative community.

Starting art young does wonderful things for a child, and it should feel like play. At the International Studio of Art & Galleries (ISOAG), our early-years classes give children aged 4 to 6 a warm, unhurried place to explore colour, shape and texture with their hands, guided every step of the way by experienced facilitators.
This is not a chaotic craft hour, and it is not pressure either. It is the happy middle: real, gentle art teaching designed around how little ones actually learn.
What early years looks like at ISOAG
- Play-led, not pressured, colour mixing, finger and brush painting, simple drawing, clay squishing and texture play.
- Little and often, one-hour sessions with a clear start, a guided activity and a finished piece to take home.
- Fine-motor and confidence, holding a brush, controlling a crayon, making choices and feeling proud of what they made.
- Small groups, so every child gets warmth, patience and individual attention.
- Wellbeing-aware, our teaching is shaped by an art psychotherapist, so sessions build focus and emotional expression as well as skill.
Why parents of little ones choose ISOAG
Most kids' art providers in Dubai start older, never name their teachers and say nothing about wellbeing. ISOAG is a genuine art studio in Al Safa 1, Jumeirah, led by UAE Cultural Golden Visa artist Ruxeena Musthafa, with teaching informed by art psychotherapist Najah Musthafa. Your four-year-old is taught by real, named artists in a proper studio, and everything is published openly, from ages to fees.
As your child grows, they can move up naturally into our kids art classes (ages 6 to 12) and beyond, following a clear path from first strokes to real technique.

Loved by Dubai parents
This place truly touches my heart each time I'm there. It's a space filled with connection, warmth, and such positive energy. You can feel how much the team genuinely cares; they nurture creativity so beautifully and make you feel seen and inspired. If you love art, or even if you're just beginning your journey, this is a place you'll want to be a part of.
If you're looking for a creative escape in Dubai, look no further than this amazing place. It's truly a one-stop destination for all things art. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth by Ruxeena and her dedicated team. I recently hosted my daughter's birthday party along with a cool art session. Ruxeena and her team took all the responsibility regarding decorations, party favors and a fabulous art session for my daughter and her friends. What a wonderful day it was! My daughter spent the day exactly the way she had planned.
I always have a lovely experience at this art studio. The space is very warm and inspiring. The team is kind, patient, and truly supportive. I always feel encouraged the whole time and really enjoyed being creative here. Definitely a place I always come back to! Must join their creative connection community too, not something one should miss!
Really an inspiring and welcoming art space. The gallery has a beautiful atmosphere, and every visit feels creative and refreshing. Highly recommended for anyone who loves art!
I am beyond thrilled with ISOAG for organizing such a wonderful and memorable art workshop and party for my daughter's birthday! The entire experience was magical, from the creative activities to the attention to detail. The children were engaged, inspired, and left with big smiles and beautiful creations. ISOAG went the extra mile by providing amazing return gifts and goody bags for all the kids, and even offered a free session for each child to avail after the party, which was such a thoughtful touch. I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate this special day. Highly recommended!
Our second time there and always a pleasure to do an art class with the kids. Everyone is very kind and caring and the children loved their time.
The teacher Neelu is very good and Anju is very helpful.
A lovely place for children, and the staff are very helpful.
Art classes here are the absolute best! They're fun, creative and really bring out the inner artist in you. I was able to draw and paint after 9 years of no creativity, so happy to be a student here!
Great atmosphere and even better art. The gallery has a fantastic vibe, and the class was perfect. The space is beautiful and the instruction is genuinely helpful. High-quality supplies, patient teaching, and a great way to support student talents.
Myself and my family had a great time together; the place is a good family activity. I advise every family to visit and spend time having an art family group working, good family exercise and experience. Time spent with Ruxeena and Nilu, the joy of every second made it the best time ever. They made art so easy and simple that everyone in your family feels like a real artist. Thanks a lot!
Must-visit place for art people. Great staff and management.
Amazing classes with brilliant teachers, Ruxeena and Nilu! Must go!
Frequently asked questions
What age can my child start art classes at ISOAG?
We welcome children from age 4. Our early-years classes are designed for ages 4 to 6, with short, play-led sessions built around little hands, short attention spans and lots of encouragement.
Are the classes messy-play or real art lessons?
Both, in the right balance. Young children learn through touch and play, so there is colour, texture and hands-on making, but every session is gently guided by an experienced facilitator so your child builds real fine-motor skills and confidence, not just mess.
How long is an early-years class?
One hour, which suits this age group well. Sessions are structured with a clear start, a guided activity and a finished piece to take home.
How much do early-years art classes cost?
A single class is AED 180 and a 10-class package is AED 1,500, with sibling discounts. All fees are published in full on our pricing page, with no hidden costs.
Do you provide the materials?
Yes. Paints, paper, brushes, clay and craft materials are all provided, so you can simply drop in and create.
Where are the classes held?
At the ISOAG studio in Al Safa 1, 16th Street, Jumeirah, near Safa Park, Dubai, with parking nearby, easy to reach from across Al Safa, Jumeirah and Al Wasl.
