Summer Art Camp in Dubai for Kids
A real art camp for children aged 4 to 18 — not a mixed-activity holiday club. Drawing, painting, clay modelling, crafts and mixed media in flexible 2-hour sessions, July to the end of August, at our studio in Al Safa 1, Jumeirah. From AED 170, materials included, led by an award-winning artist and an art psychotherapist.
A creative summer at ISOAG, Al Safa
When the school holidays arrive, our summer art camp gives children in Dubai somewhere genuinely creative to spend their mornings and afternoons. Based at our studio in Al Safa, near Safa Park, the camp is far more than a single art session — it is a structured creative programme where children explore drawing, painting, clay, crafts and mixed media in a welcoming studio environment.
Every camp day is guided by experienced art facilitators who help each child build confidence, improve focus and express their imagination, while developing real artistic skills step by step. Whether your child is a budding artist or simply loves to make things, our summer camp turns the long holiday break into a season of discovery.
What your child will explore
Our facilitators rotate projects across the summer so no two days feel the same. Activities span:
- Drawing and sketching
- Painting and canvas art
- Clay modelling
- Paper crafts and collage
- Texture art and mixed media
- Recycling crafts and decoupage
Has your child got a favourite? We can also customise their sessions to focus on one art form — such as sketching, painting, crafts or clay.
Drawing & painting
From observational sketching to bold, colourful canvases, children learn the fundamentals of line, shape, shade and colour using pencils, watercolour and acrylics.
Clay & crafts
Working with clay and craft materials builds fine-motor skills and gives children the satisfaction of making something three-dimensional with their own hands.
Mixed media projects
Combining paint, paper, texture and found materials, mixed-media sessions encourage experimentation and creative problem-solving — there is no single "right" answer, which is exactly the point.
Skills that last beyond summer
Art camp at ISOAG is designed around outcomes, not just keeping children busy. Across the sessions your child will:
- Build confidence by finishing projects they are proud of
- Improve focus and concentration through absorbing, hands-on tasks
- Express imagination in a supportive, judgement-free studio
- Develop real artistic skills progressively, step by step
These are the same foundations our term-time students build — so a summer at camp is also a natural pathway into our regular kids art classes.
Led by award-winning founders
Unlike multi-activity holiday clubs run by rotating staff, our camp is led by genuine art professionals. Ruxeena Musthafa — Co-Founder & Creative Director, a UAE Cultural Golden Visa artist and Art2Heart TV host — guides our creative programme, and Najah Musthafa — Co-Founder and an art psychotherapist — shapes a calm, confidence-building environment. For many families, that clinician-informed approach is exactly what makes our camp feel different.
Summer camp dates & daily times
